4th Central European Symposium for Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Research
We cordially invite you to the 4th Central European Symposium for Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Research (CESAMIR), which will be held in Stará Lesná, Slovakia, on July 5-10, 2020.
The symposium is organized by the Plant Science & Biodiversity Center, Slovak Academy of Sciences, in cooperation with the Slovak Limnological Society and the initiative AquaBOL.SK.
The next CESAMIR aims again to integrate recent achievements of all branches of aquatic macroinvertebrate science, from basic to applied research, including but not limited to taxonomy, biodiversity and faunistics, community and functional ecology, population biology, human impact, water pollution and ecotoxicology, water quality monitoring and metrics, from microhabitat modification to global changes, with a focus on the latest developments and trends, as well as future outlook.
The registration for the conference is now open, as well as a possibility to suggest Workshops and/or Special Sessions.

for the Symposium “Resilience and Reversibility of Lake Ecosystems in a Changing World”
23rd to 25th of March 2020
University of Konstanz, Germany
We invite you to join us in Konstanz (Germany) for the Symposium “Resilience and Reversibility of Lake Ecosystems in a Changing World”, taking place from the 23rd to the 25th of March 2020 at the campus of the University of Konstanz.
Lake ecosystems are affected by a multitude of changing environmental conditions. Overarching themes of this symposium are Responses and Resilience of Lake Ecosystems to Changes in Environmental Stressors and Reversibility of Lake Ecosystems after Disturbances. The symposium is intended to promote discussions and interactions on research investigating long-term dynamics, responses to changing environmental conditions and invasive species in lakes, as well as theoretical studies on resilience and reversibility in complex systems.
The symposium is open to researchers from the public and private sectors, students, and stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to present your research and share your expertise and applied solutions in the thematic sessions.
Please note that online registration and abstract submission will be available soon.
